William H. Marshall

William H. Marshall was one of three children born to John Marshall and Inez Howard Marshall. He grew up in Kokomo, Indiana and later attended Indiana University in Bloomington where he earned two degrees. His first degree was a BA in Economics and the second degree was a JD. In the time between earning his degrees, he served as a Marine from 1960-1963. 

Upon graduation from law school, he was employed at Marshall, Hillis and Button law firm.  Following his employment at the law firm, he worked at George S. Olive & Company as a Tax Accountant C.P.A. It was during his time at George S. Olive that he met Allen Whitehill Clowes. The Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation incorporated in October 1990 with William serving as Treasurer. In 2000, Allen Whitehill Clowes passed away and William H. Marshall was elected the following year as President of the Foundation. 

William’s hobbies include traveling and reading. He also has a love for animals. The Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation continues to be a source of enjoyment for William because of his deep appreciation of the arts and his love of music
